Joie posts on 1/14/2012 10:34:31 PM I was wondering why only book 1 and 3 of the Ghatti Tales was on in ebooks (Kindle)but the 2nd book isn't? I was hoping to reall all of the books on my kindle to save several trees but was bummed when I couldn't find MindSpeakers' Call is not available on the Kindle! :( I know that some of my friends got hooked on the first book and also want to continue reading the series but can't download the 2nd book. So I was wondering if there was a way to get this book added to the Kindle collection :)
Diana posts on 10/22/2010 8:12:39 AM I ran across her Ghatti Series so many years ago. I probably read them in middle school. I had completely forgotten about them until I saw John Green's name one time and had this sense that I had forgotten something important. I then connected my memory to Gayle Greeno. That was probably two or three years ago. Ever since then, I've been wondering what happened to her. It's as if she completely disappeared.
TS posts on 5/8/2010 11:08:34 PM does anyone know if she is going to write anymore? Has she fallen seriously ill? I love her ghattis tale books. I read them all and really wish she would release more.

Holly posts on 7/8/2005 6:55:29 PM There is some sexual content (that machine that makes a person(how shall we say) excited?). And the society is pretty easy-going about sexual partners (the main character has a lover who recently died at the beginning of the first book and she gets pregnant before she is married). I guess it depends on you personal morals, but I would think 8 is a bit young for that. I think there is also some sexual abuse in there, but I'm not sure (it's been years since I've read them).
Paul J. Lareau posts on 7/3/2005 8:36:04 PM I can't remember anything particular about the content that would raise any questions in my mind, but I'd think an 8-year-old would have to have a really extraordinary reading ability matched with a pretty good attention span and fantasy plot comprehension. They wouldn't be my first choice to intro an 8-year-old to the genre, but not a bad choice with a kid who already reads sci-fi and fantasy beyond the middle school level.
Chris Palmer posts on 7/3/2005 7:57:05 PM I have not read these books yet and would like some input about whether these books would be good for an 8 year-old. He is intelligent enough, I just am concerned about content. Any input would be great!
CAt posts on 5/22/2005 4:57:45 PM Josh, Gayle probably doesnt read this message bored.

CAt posts on 5/19/2005 8:09:18 PM i was thinking that perhaps mind snair would be that book but after looking at the cover i saw that there is too much technology....guess i was hoping too much...that was her latest work i think and it came out in 1997....owch...has anyone read that book?
Kelly posts on 5/17/2005 3:20:19 PM Not much of a fan club, if nobody answers the questions. I came here looking for news of a third book in the second series - and find other peoples questions have gone unanswered. Being private and reclusive is fine, but does she still want us to buy her books?
