Jilliane Hoffman Message Board

DougH posts on 2/1/2008 11:06:44 AM For all those who've read Retribution and loved it as much as I did, you need to read Last Witness which is the sequel. Unbelievably good! In all honesty I had never heard of Ms. Hoffman until I read Retribution which made me a fan instantly. She has even become my favorite author removing Grisham and a host of others that were at the top of my list. My only hope now is that she has another masterpiece in the works. I hope you all enjoy Last Witness.
AnnieH posts on 12/6/2006 8:35:57 PM This is the first book I've read by Jilliane Hoffman but not my last. Brilliant. I don't scare easily but while at home one night by myself reading "Retribution" I had to get up and shut the bedroom window.I'm on my way to buy "the Last Witness".
Cathy Taylor posts on 7/27/2005 7:12:17 PM I thought Retribution was an outstanding page turning thriller. As good as if not better than the latest best sellers. It has it all murder, law, suspense & romance. I recommended it to my fellow readers. I was first on the list to get The Last Witness, its good but lacks the page turning quality of Ritribution. Hopefully the author will get back on track. Cathy

Sue Weir posts on 7/27/2005 3:48:01 PM AWESOME reads! I highly recommend this amazing author! I can hardly wait until her next book comes out. We're in for many more surprises, just by virtue of the unexpected twists Jilliane Hoffman gave us in BOTH books. Hold onto your seats...you're in for an amazing ride!!!
Peter Powell posts on 3/4/2005 7:23:21 AM Browsing in the airport bookshop, I was looking for a good read to alleviate the boredom of the forthcoming flight. I usually stick to books by my favourite authors but being in a hurry took a chance on JH's Retribution. What a book. The flight flew by and I continued to read in the taxi! Excellent first novel with a brilliant twist. Forget the law. Bantling deserved everything he got. I am eagerly awaiting Last Witness.
Annie posts on 2/2/2005 2:59:00 PM Being a fan of James Patterson and Jeffery Deaver, I have to say that this book has been quite a thrill. I can't wait to read The Last Witness which am sure will be fabulous.
Tracey McWilliams posts on 1/11/2005 4:35:47 AM What a book I loved it, I read the last pages at 4 in the morning! The book was written so well that I felt the fear. I had not idea that it was the Dr and was glad that I didn't. Only the politically correct gone mad would comment on the moral issues of the book. I say just deserts. Looking forward to the next book.
