Like stupid questions, there are no stupid books. All have merit, even if it's only to make us feel superior if we don't like the book and think we could do better or believe that others are less intelligent because they do.
Books provide escape and also inform us -- even if the book is fiction. One of the marks of a good writer is to be factually correct in anything not directly connected to the story line. For example, something traveling at 50 miles per hour cannot cover a distance of 100 miles in less than 2 hours.
Men cannot fly under their own power unless the story involves Superman -- who can.

I think that was a very stupid book.
I advise you people not to read anymore books period...let alone this one. Reading is for losers.
