I just finished reading his book "and the shadow took him" and had him as a guest speaker in my English class. I think he is a great writer, very knowledgable. He has some great ideas. Can't wait to read his next book!

Daniel Chacons books are a great representation of the struggle of Chicano youth. He does an excellent job of writing. I felt as if I really knew these characters.

I had him as an instructor. I just want to know why he always has a pissed off look?
