I have a black beauty book with a red cover. it has the title at the top with a picture of a horse in a square block under the title. i have searched every and cannot find anything on this book. it has no publish date inside and was published by the george w jacobs & company. any info will be greatly apprciated

I have recently inherited a very old Black Beauty hard cover book, 302 pages. No date appears in the book. The front cover has a color picture of a beautiful lady from just about the shoulders up to the top of her head on which she wears a hat with a red ribbon. The detail on the picture is spectacular. The publisher is M.A. Donohue & Company. Is this a rare find?
