I have read a few of Danielle Steel's books which were very quick reads. Sorry pls don't read HRH it was the worst book I've ever read, so depressing and the same sentence was repeated continually. If you want some good books you really have to spend some time and research. I love the book by Emma Cole called Every Little Thing, and also The Winter Sea by Susanna Kearsley. You can't put them down and great characters and plots with many twists and turns. A wee bit of romance there also. Try them and you won't be disappointed.

Does anyone recall a book of Danielle Steel's in which a young woman wakes up in a hospital after an accident, loses weaght, becomes magically transformed into a beautiful lady with whom the man who had previously ignored her promptly fall in love with her! Or is the plot of another author?! Advice welcome!

Hi Sandy S. No, Johnny Angel has not been made into a movie (as yet, anyway) but DS movies are back on TV now, after a long break. Safe Harbour is her most recent...Melissa Gilbert and Brad Johnson (georgous!) starred and it was very enjoyable!

I have read three of Danielle Steel's book in past 4 weeks. I read The House of Hope Street,Five Days in Paris and Johnny Angel. I loved them all. The House on hope street was great it made me cry,but Johnny's Angel I loved and that made me cry and laugh too. It also made me think a lot about a lot of things. I am not one that likes to read much but now that I am into reading Danielle's books I want to keep reading more of her books. I have read Once in a Lifetime by Danielle but that was about 15 years ago. I love all her movies. I just checked out another book by her "Answered Prayers." I would love to know if Johnny Angel is a movie. Does anybody know?
