I have read this book twice in the last twenty years. Just recently finished the second reading. Loved it just as much the second time. Have recommended it to everyone I know, without anyone taking me up on it. Truly great.

I read this book 2 or 3 times. really this book is best, i have read during last ten years. It is reat. what als i can find - please, more books of Stewart. I love it.
I would like to now more about aothor.

Well, Carl Sandburg called Earth Abides one of the best books of its decade. More recently, James Sallis called it one one of the great books of the 20th Century. So I'd agree -- read it!
And then listen to Philip Aaberg's composition, Earth Abides.

i read this book in '75. it's STILL one of the best books i've ever read.
