Eric my daughter read your book The Other Woman. She read the passage about Charles from Slidell Louisiana. It took me by surprise that your character's life is described exactly like my brother's real life. The eight brothers & sister's, the boxing as a teen, and other sexually details i rather not discuss. It amazes me how you could create a characterthat describes a real person life. If any of my family would read your book they would not believe you were not talking about our brother. You are good.

My favorite scene comes from "The Other Women." It's the one where Freckles gets home from David Lawrence's house and she gets into an argument with Charles. He reads the IM's and they argue about what went wrong and why he cheated. I keep reading that part over and over.

i read thieves paradise when it first came out and i still remember it very well. i love your books they are hard to put down
