Just a general comment for anyone who is wondering: the next Honor Harrington book (titled At All Costs) is out and has been out for months. In my opinion, its an improvement over the latest in the series, but not quite the same caliber as the first. Don't know if everyone had heard about about the book already, but I noticed it wasn't on the list of books reviewed.

I have to disagree with the reviewer, Bahzell didn't go to the Wind Plain to get a (Courser) horse big enough for him, though he was accepted by one after curing one of being infected by eeeeeeeevil. One thing that disappoints me about WO (other than the incredible slickness of the writing, which makes everything seem almost too easy...), is the cover art. Yes, the cover art on OATH OF SWORDS and THE WAR GOD'S OWN focus on more-or-less social events that happened in the books, but putting the "I'm gonna get you for that" scene at the end of WO????? Why not show us a damn' Courser, and Bahzell on top of it??? Plus, what happened to the quality of the art? OATH OF SWORDS and THE WAR GOD'S OWN cover art looked good, WINDRIDER'S OATH makes Bahzell look like his ears are hat racks...

I'd like to see the next and/or final installment of this series. How will he free a race dominated by computers. With help from his own talking computer, but story unfinished is a terrible thing to waste.

The last I heard, he was working on the tech bible for a prequil to "Path of the Fury", but said that he was having to rewrite it becouse the tech was too advanced for the time. That was many years ago, and haven't heard anything sense. The book was to be set about 300 years earlier.

I am patiently waiting for the sequel to "Path of the Fury". Is it coming soon?
