Hi, i am writing an essay on your book playing with boys (which i loved)and i have to compare it to Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. i was just wondering if the character Alexis represents you or maybe some of the plot is from personal experiences.
thanks nikita

Well, actually this has nothing to do w/this book. However, I am on page 5, yes only page 5, of your book "The Dirty Girls Social Club". I am enjoying it a great amount. I am 24,raised in Miami, and of course... Cuban. And guess where my dad's from? Havana. Well I'll keep it short so that I may continue to read your book. Congrats on all that you've done. And I agree that no one knows what it's like to be a Miami-Cuban girl, that's well...intelligent. By the way, it still sucks here. Especially the men, I'm now totally anti-hispanic men. If I wouldn't be living in "Nakoville" perhaps I wouldn't have the sentiments I have for these machismos. Well, take care. Hope all is well.
