Donald Newlove Message Board

Judith Karpova posts on 10/30/2006 9:33:47 AM I'm trying to remember the name of one of Donald Newlove's books where he's in love with a woman who committed suicide, and goes back and forth into the astral plane around her and his feelings for her. I was taking a course with Marguerite Young and he was a guest at one of our classes. Thanks for the help
terry posts on 5/20/2005 8:23:53 PM If you are the same Donald Newlove who wrote "Sweet Adversity", then I must tell you that you are a genius...one of the most brilliant contenporary writers I have encountered. This book touches me on so many levels...the twins grew up just a little before me, so the period is nostalgic for me. I am the son of an alcoholic father, and I am a musician, but these are only portals to the power of the book for me...anyone who is human cannot help but connect with the twins' lonliness, their anguish, and their resiliant hope. Thanks for writing one of the best books I ever hope to read.
