jean maiorino posts on 2/12/2008 7:57:31 PM Mr. Bryson, I enjoyed your book with the exception of page 250. It’s a little sad that you felt the need to criticize a couple’s faith. Especially when that faith may have been the very thing that helped them accomplish what you could not. I guess it’s open season on Christians lately so you felt it was politically fine to speak so negatively. It’s a shame because for me it ruined the entire experience of reading what would have otherwise been a great book. Jean Maiorino
Tori posts on 11/4/2007 12:27:42 PM I feel like an outcast saying this because everyone who has wrote about this said they liked it, I didn't. His humor and bold personality was great, but other than that, this book bored me.

Kaitlin posts on 8/21/2007 11:42:21 AM I really thought this book would be boring , but the plot captures your attention. Now I feel like hiking. The book is very intriguing, especially if you like nature.
Ashley posts on 8/5/2005 9:15:06 AM So over all i really enjoyed the boy.. i was secptical at first, b/c it was a nature book... but i had to read it for my Advanced Placement class. and i really enjoyed it overall.. minus some random history facts that i cared nothing for. I suggest this. it will also inspire you to go out on a hike as well. i love Brysons humor throughout the book... Good Read.
