This is so sad. To whom much is given, much is required. Could anyone truly believe that the same Christ who said to let the little children come to him could possibly condone child abuse. One month old? That's sick, and Ms Wick should hang her head in shame for her part in this.
God condemned human sacrifice,which is what beating a baby amounts to.

Phil Caminiti, pastor of the church Lori and her family host and attend, was sentenced to two years in prison, followed by six years parole for instructing members of his congregation to strike children as young as two weeks old with wooden spoons and dowels. He is also barred from having contact with members of that church, and cannot hold a leadership position in any church. Phil and his wife, as well as Lori and her husband Bob, and three other members have a history spanning over thirty years- going back to when they met at college. Yes, Lori clearly knew what was going on. If they ban Phil's son from the pulpit (he is currently the sole elder of that church, and also faces charges), they will be free. Let's hope.

I'm sorry for your neice Sh. I know who she is. My family and I were once one of the brainwashed who attended this cult. Thankfully the Lord opened our eyes and we left. We are now shunned by all of them. It breaks our heart knowing dear friends are still so blind. Not a day goes by that we don't pray for these people. Stay encouraged. God is mightier than Phil Caminiti.

Prayers would be appreciated for my niece who is one of the people charged with child abuse...hitting her 8 week old son with a dowel 2 to 5 times a week for things like cooing in church. She has been completely brainwashed by this church ...she lived with Lori Wick for a while. Pray for the people of this church and devastated families.
