Jelena Popovic posts on 1/31/2013 7:19:00 AM Hi, I've only just discovered my first BA novel - White Gardenia - I absolutely loved it and was unable to put it down. I fell in love with the characters, I can't wait to get my hands on Belinda's other novels. Thank you!!!
AdelaideMae posts on 8/22/2012 3:56:54 AM I happened upon this site looking for other books or authors similar to Belinda Alexandra. I fell in love with Belinda Alexandra's books after finding White Gardenia in a secondhand bookstore. I have since bought and read all her books with the exception of Golden Earrings which I cannot wait to read. It's been a long time since I've been so eager to finish up what I'm doing just so I can get back to my reading -- I can hardly put her books down. Can anyone recommend any other authors who are similar to Belinda Alexandra?
linda posts on 10/2/2011 9:48:50 PM I happened upon Wild Lavender in a local second hand book store. It was the cover of the book which immediately caught my attention. From start to finish i couldn't put it down, and quickly sourced out other books written by Belinda Alexander. By this stage she had written three other novels, all of which i have read and thoroughly enjoiyed as much as the first. Can't wait to read the latest.

heidi piper posts on 10/1/2011 3:35:48 AM thanks for the heads up. will keep an eye out for the new book :) just finished one by Di Morrisey and it was pretty ordinary! so, a fab new book by Belinda is very welcome!!
Amylou posts on 9/30/2011 11:30:25 PM New book out now, bought in Dymocks Adelaide last night. Can't wait to read!!!
amylou posts on 4/16/2011 10:29:51 PM I am shocked by your comments as well Jennie, and agree with Neil. I don't believe a book would get through a editor, let alone a publisher if it had the errors you have put forward. Maybe I liked the book so much I just didn't see them as you did. I understand if you did not like the book - that's fine, I do not like some books either. However if you got through the book you would see what a strong woman Rosa is. I don't understand your need to put forward that due to one book, there is an issue with all Australian writers. I have personally found Belinda Alexandra's books really wonderful, because her characters are strong and the setting of each book, takes me back in time, to tough place in history. Heidi I hope you enjoyed the book like I did. Elw thanks for the info on Belinda speaking, unfortunately I am in SA. Does any one know when her next book is due out?
Neil posts on 1/31/2011 5:57:23 AM Interesting that Jennie (1/16/10) complains about "grammar errors"! Shouldn't it be grammatical errors?? After all grammar is a noun ? isn't it! Waiting for the next book!!
Jennie posts on 1/16/2011 6:21:33 PM I've ben an avid reader of just about anything since childhood. My sister recently gave me Tuscan Rose by Belinda Alexandra. It's very rare for me to not want to finish a book, but this one will be going in the rubbish bin. A third of the way through I'm sick of the grammar errors but I'd tolerate them if it wasn't for the victim of a heroine. No desire whatsoever to "share her journey". Would prefer to give her a swift kick up the rear. Bad editing and mediocre writing - don't waste your time or your money on this one. If this is all Australian writing and publishing can produce then heaven help us.
elw posts on 9/30/2010 1:54:30 AM Belinda Alexandra will be speaking at Castle Hill Library NSW AUS on Wendesday 17th November 1.30pm!
heidi Piper posts on 3/14/2010 5:36:39 AM i just bought the new book too, but am saving it up for the school holidays - hopefully i can enjoy big chunks of it rather than just a few minutes before bed each night. can't wait :)
