Does anybody know of a quote from one of HC's books about the expression of love from a father to his child about "the time it takes from the light of a star to reach earth" in relation to how much a father loves his child? It is for a tattoo I am thinking of having. Thanks!

Re: Shelter - I have just bought HC's new book Seconds Away and even though I love his books I have trouble remembering things and cannot remember what happened in Shelter and don't want to re-read it (I am a slow reader). Can soemone please give me a brief synopsis please? I remember Mickey is settling in at a new school and his new GF goes missing and she is being held prisoner a nightclub or something. I guess he rescues her? And what was the bat lady thing all about with his Dad and so on, I forgot that bit totally! Thanks.

what an incredible writer !! I just read "the woods" and realized after pondering for awhile that this fantastic writer actually wrote a book in which all of the characters are guilty....every single one of them.....what a feat!
