I have had the pleaseure of reading most of the books Mr. Mosley has written. I have found them to wonderfully educational. Educated in a white world we don't get to hear these type sories. The injustice done to minorities, especially African-Americans, is not a large part of American History. What a shame! Because we never learn these stories we go on believing our whole society in baised on equality. Unfortounatly this is not so. We americans have bee3n so quilty of the crimes we acuse others of it is discusting. We need to learn history, the truth not told by anyone who has their own agenda. Mr. Mosley for me has opened a door that will never be closed. I have read many other authors like Mildred D Taylor who tells us stories atht help us to begin to understand the anger that African-Americans have against whites. I as a white am embarrased, ashamed at the history of the way we treat African-American in our society yesterday and today! Also as a Jew I have experienced this behavior myself.Until we learn that God created many people all equal in many ways different in few. The differences have to do with nothing important. There is only one race in this world and it is the HUMAN RACE. Anything else is just table decoration. If we as individuals could treat our fellow man the way we would want them to treat us the world would be a better place. This is not a lesson I needed to learn from these authors but they can teach this lesson so well. They tell their stories in such a heart warming way that we end up caring a great deal about the charters. This can help many people who do not understand what it is like to be treated as if you were not a human being at all but some property owned. Property that we can do what we will with. THIS IS NOT THE CASE when talking about HUMAN BEINGS! There are many people who were not taught that lesson as a child. I see it everyday in the way that whites talk about non-whites! It makes me sick to see otherwise educated people be so ignorant. I don't want to get up on a soap ox but some tiomes that is the only way. Mr Mosley and MS Taylor are able to do this in the way they tell their stories muchore effectively. It makes me angry when I see people trying to have these books removed from libraries and schools. I thank y ou both and the many other authors who have opened the eyes of many. Please keep up the great job!

Bill, I was actually a little confused about that too. But in reading Six Easy Pieces it Mouse tells his story of how he came back, like exactly what happened. so you may want to check taht out. But it is a little strange how he came back kind of out the blue.
Also, I just read Cinammon Kiss myself, and it is so good, the ending was sad.

I just read Bad Boy Brawly Brown & Little Scarlet and I'm cofused; When did Mouse come back from the dead. I know that in LS Easy mentions that Mama Jo brought him back, but how and when?

Thank you, Adina! I'm so glad to hear supportive comments of an African-American writer. I just finished Cinnamon Kiss, and I loved it.
