mandy posts on 9/30/2008 7:23:27 PM Acheron was AMAZING! That's pretty much all I had to say, fricken AWESOME!
posts on 10/10/2006 3:52:29 PM I've read all of the dark hunter series and I love it. Dance with the D is definitely the best one SK has written, but Valerious' story really got to me too. It's sort of sad though b/c the more I came to love Val the more I came to despise Kerian. He has no right to hate Val, no reason at all. I agree though, the last two books didn't seem as complete as the others. I did love Ravyns cat nip episode though, that was funny. The only character I really want to know about is Spawn, I mean SK has got lots of dark hunters that she's already introduced but hasn't used. Why make up new ones. And I totally can't wait for Ash's story, I just hope it's different and not incredably predictable, like he falls for that chick that saved his life when he got turned to stone. That's just way to easy to go with, and she's just desperate to have him like every other girl because he's pretty. I think he should have a more complicated love interest, one he has to earn. Say a girl that isn't attracted to him in the least. Anyway I guess I'll just have to wait and see, I'm just curious how this is all going to end up. It's not like he can have his soul back, even if he could what would happen to the dark hunters without Ash?
posts on 7/26/2006 3:53:53 PM I love the Dark Hunter series. The stories should be read in order though to get the best reading enjoyment. I am currently reading Dark Side of the Moon. So far so good!

posts on 6/12/2006 5:46:14 PM I totatlly agree with her adding way too many characters. For me tho, it's a plus and a minus. A plus is that I look forward to her other books but the minus is that I sorta feel lost like, "Was I supposed to know about that person? Or is it just because I have not read one or two of S.K.'s other books that I don't know these people?" It can get sorta frustrating, but I love that it helps me understand her world better. This last book with Ravyn did sorta suffer tho because I thought it spent way too much time developing the dark-hunter world and not enough between him and Susan. I totally love Dance with the Devil!
posts on 6/10/2006 11:32:40 AM I've read all of Kenyon's books. I fell in love with her Dark Hunters a long time ago. Night Pleasures and Night Embrace are my fav. I have to say though that I did not like this last one. I wasn't crazy about Alexion's story either. Her writing has changed alot and she has way too many characters she likes to fit in one book. People keep saying she's writing these certain books as a building block leading up to Ash's story but to me that's a copout. All books should hold appeal and the writing just hasn't been up to par. I will still continue reading them but will not buy the hardcover again. I absolutely love her Macgregor series if you like the historical themes and Lord's of Avalon was along on the same writing style as her earlier Hunter books. Very edgy and s e x y.
posts on 6/10/2006 4:41:05 AM I've read almost all of the dark-hunter series and I ABSOLUTELY love it! It's the best paranormal series out there and it's the only kind that I will read. It's not too freaky like so many others out there.
Trang posts on 10/3/2005 11:43:40 PM Anyone read Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter Series yet? i didn't expect them to be quite so funny...
