Ms.Haddix! You are my all time favorite author! I just finished Torn and it was amazing! The ending was great and devastating at the same time.I wanted to keep reading but it just ended!!! And I going tim reread the shadow children books, my favorite books ever, while trying to control myself to wait on the next book after Torn. There will be another one right? I can't go on without the nextgreat author!

Hello Mrs.Haddix I just finished reading the shadow children series this morning. It was a extremely amazing series, and I was wondering if they might become a movie or several movies. If so, I know this is alot to ask but I was wondering if maybe, just maybe I might be able to play the character Nina Ida a.k.a. Elodie. This probably won't happen but it's not bad to ask. I'm now 13 I have strawberry blonde hair and blue-green eyes. I go to an arts school which is helping me with my acting.I have now read all seven 'Shadow children books' in the last 2 weeks and I would love to meet you. It would be a dream come true to play a role in the movies. I have also told many people about these books and love each and every book. It is alright if this doesn't happen but if it can I thank you so much.

What will some of the future books be centered around? I think the Mary Celeste would be a good story. Also any of the wars: revolutionary, civil, WWI, exct. Personally, I think the final book will be set to someone close to Hitler, whether it's Edmund (Hitler's younger brother who died of Measles when Hitler was 11 years old) or someone else with connection to Hitler.

To: Margaret Peterson Haddix (or anyone who may know the answer to our question!)
We are reading your books as read alouds and we LOVE THEM! We're wondering when the next book in The Missing series will come out?! We finished Found and are in the middle of Sent, however, one of the students in the class just finished reading Sabotage! She can hardly wait until the next book in the series comes out. Is there one in "the works"?

You are the best author in the world! My favorite book in the whole world is Double Identity. I've read it about 10 times! I've read it twice this year and plan on reading it a third time in a book club! I have also read ALL of the Shadow Children Series and Dexter The Tough. I want to be an author when I grow up! do you have any tips? Email PLEASE! Thank you for reading.
Love,
Ashley

Well actually, it has something to do with your book "Sabotaged". When I was reading it (thought I'm not really very far at all, I noticed that 'Virginia' was from Roanoke, and that her last name was "Dare"; not Laddon. We recently did a project on Jamestown and its people. Virginia's name is Virginia Laddon, not Dare. I do know that in books there has to be changes to history and all of that, so really, I'm just wonder if you did that on purpose or accident? Hop eyou check this website... :)
