I didn't like Deerskin much either --it was too much on the melodrama & not on characters. I like Beauty a lot. It's a classic :D

My personal favorites are The Blue Sword and The Hero and the Crown. I've read them 5 times. Sorry, I haven't been posting. Moving takes a lot of time.

In answer to your question, Sally, I did not like Deerskin. It had some good points, but I would never read it again.
