I have no idea what Clancy is doing, a few of my friends that read him feel he may have retired and just doesnt want to write fiction anymore.

When I received my "new posted message" e mail I was thinking "oh yes, a new Tom Clancy" book. But to no avail. Once upon a time I had an e mail address for Mr. Clancy (someone replied to me e mail and signed it "TC"). Does anyone have the address??

I was REALLY hoping that come this August we would see that new Tom Clancy book. Maybe it ends with teeth? I think even I have given up hope.

Did he retire not tell anyone?

What's wrong with Clancy? He can't finish a book with a sentence like this and then stop writing on. Personally I'd love to know how the story of the Carusos and Jack jr. goes on. Please Clancy get to your desk and write!

Who needs Tom Clancy. There's a new Frederick Forsyth novel.

Why are there no posts or for that matter an official TC website where fans can get info....all the other big authors have sites...

Mystery Book that was supposed to come out this summer is now taken OFF Amazon. Can't get information from anybody no where. I smell politics. Clancy was against the Iraq war and maybe this new work has some of his feelings in it. The end of the Clancy genre I suppose. Screw Op-Center and those other rags used for fire kindling.

Actually, I'd like to see another of his world war stories, but maybe not with the allies that we'd typically expect to have, and definitely not the same type of "good guys win again" ending. I love his 1000+ page stories. Especially when the first 750 pages are all just build-up to the action that takes place in the last 250 pages. And there's no saying that Jack, Sr. has to be finished. Clancy can always go back in time to whatever period of Ryan's life he wants to.
