Is the scene in Betsey Cavalierre's house with Cross and Kyle Craig really the end of this story? I am shocked at the lame ending if it is. Please advise.

Are the hardcover and paperback the same book?

I have listened to about 10 audio books by Mr. Patterson and have enjoyed them all. However, Season of the Machete was so bad that I didn't finish it. It's like someone with a lot less talent wrote it. wf

I have read all of his books and really enjoy them immensely but have to agree that in the last 3 newest books something has been missing and the "sparkle" isn't there. Anita

I read the new book, Cross, a couple of month ago. It was exciting ad gripping as usual, but unforunately, it just didn't have that sparkle about it that all the others had. I think what caused this is that the story was a little predictable, where as the others had me completely baffled. Nevertheless, a thumbs up, as I love James Patterson!!

I am new reader to the James Patterson collection and just completed 1st to Die. It was pretty good, however it wasn't as suspenseful as I thought it would be, but it did a pretty good job of keeping my attention. I began reading "The Midnight Club" today, but wondered if this book has more suspense than the last one I just read?

Could someone please explain to me where "Little Ali" came from in the book "Cross"? When Maria died, they had two children, Damon and Jannie and suddenly in the next chapter, they had three. Did I miss something?

I have read so many of his books lately and donated them to the library when I finished. I forgot which one ended in murder and the FBI agent is the serial killer. I wanted to look back at it for some info.
