My mom mentioned this book by robb white. she read it when ahe was a child. She said it is called Sailor snd I cant remember the rest. Could she have got it wrong and it is the one called Sail Away. She said she checked the internet and couldnt find it. Anyway I would like to locate it for Mothers day any suggestions?

I have just read an old Children's book by Robb White which I have had in my library at home for years & not bothered to read it. Can anyone give me any background to this book, if indeed the message board relates to the same Robb White who wrote "Sail Away"!

hi Ang-- i dont hav especifics --but i did a web search under robb white and found all sorts o fthings--ie: life stuff--about hi sbooks ; a few biographies; and how one of his books was based on his life with his wife too--

okay does anybody know anything about the book that i could write about a have a final and do not get the book at all i need 3 subjects on the book to write about can anybody give me ideas?

If you are not aware of it, Robb White also some very good WWII books which took place in the Pacific. Two of which are "FLIGHT DECK", and "RUN SILENT RUN DEEP". If I am not mistaken, Run Silent Run Deep was made into a movie starring Clark Gable.
