Please tell me why people like to read books by a child abuser? Is she really "Christian." Are those who buy her books really "Christian?"

This woman is a child abuser & any supporters of this type of "discipline" fall under that label as well. Small children should not be beaten or spanked with crude instruments ever. This is uneducated, abusive & has no part of a good spiritual upbringing. How can anyone regard this woman as a true author or expert on parenting? That is truly frightening. I hope justice will prevail for those poor children.

Careful who you support and give your money to. It appears that Lori is funding a cult that encourages child abuse. Check out Madison, WI news web pages for the full story.
MADISON (WKOW) -- Dane County authorities say eight people from Black Earth and Mazomanie are facing child abuse charges in a sixteen-month investigation.
In November of 2010, former members of the Aleitheia Bible Church (ABC) came forward and told detectives about their concerns about the mistreatment of children.
The five men and three women arrested belong to ABC. Authorities say the church was formed in 2006, when some members of the Curtis Street Bible Fellowship broke away to start their own church, with a starting donation of between $500,000 and $600,000 from Bob and Lori Wick of Mazomanie.
One of the suspects arrested, Philip B. Caminiti, served as the head pastor for ABC. The small congregation held worship services and meetings at members' homes. Another suspect, Matthew Caminiti, was also an elder at ABC.

I truly hope to see more of Lori Wick's books in the future. I want her to write another book about Silas and Amy in the "A Place called Home Series". I've personally known 4 people who have become pregnant after 10, 15 and 20 years of marriage. Lori, I hope you've had a good rest. You have been missed.

Is she really? I hope she writes more books on the "Big Sky Dreams" series about the life of Cassidy, Sabrina, and Jessie in Token Creek!

She IS coming back? Where did you hear this from? I'm excited, but I got no indication from her publishing company about it. Oh, I do hope it is true!!

Personally, I like Tracie Peterson and I have recently discovered Vickie McDonough. Tracie Peterson writes series like Lori Wick does, and I have collected a fair amount of her works. Vickie McDonough is a new find for me, but I like the 2 book series of hers that I started on (Boarding House Brides) and I enjoy her sense of humor.
