Great news re "The Lady". It is definitely Baen's loss.

I am *very* sorry to hear about Baen. Is the new publisher eBook friendly? These days, if something isn't Palm-stuffable, for it's simply not bought (or read).

I too am anxiously awaiting Amanda's next adventure. Hope to see it on the shelves before Christmas. Keep up the great work!

I have just put Amanda at the top of my Listmania List of "My Favourite Women" On Amazon.co.uk. It may increase your sales !!. Got to help you get Phantom Force published somehow. Although there are a few romances included it may be useful to your other readers. Ayone any better ideas?

Thanks for the update. I'm going slightly crazy wondering whats going to happen after Target Lock! Glad to hear that Amanda will be back!

Okay, here's the word on Amanda. Baen Books has elected to not pick up the Amanda series. No hard feelings, they just thought that its a little too far out of their chosen field. But a second major publisher is looking at the series at this time and I'll give you the word on this just as soon as I hear anything myself. However there is yet another new Amanda project under discussion. I can say no more at the moment as we don't have the contracts signed yet. I am not finished with the lady. In the meantime, The Arctic Event is still on track for publication this September and Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine has just picked up another Kevin Pulasky hotrod mystery.

I still have not seen any listing for the new Amanda Garrett book. I have checked Baen website but still no joy!!I am suffering from Amanda deprivation. Mike Palmer

Dear Mr. Cobb, Definately enjoyed the short story from the Amanda Lee Garrette universe in the "Future Weapons" book from Baen. Keep up the great work! Look forward to many more ALG stories!
