I read this book in 2 days (which I aways do - on Robin Cook stuff.) I've never posted anywhere before in my life but this bothered me: Jack checked on Craig (around page 316). but later in the book he had never been upstairs. How could he have checked wihtout going up stairs? And futher more most poeple in 3 to 4 million dollar home will automatically show their house off when you arrive, especailly a relative! (including the up stairs!)

I really love this book. Its got an excellent story line. Dr. Cook did and excellent job. I dont know if the meat industry is as bad as he says but I dont think restraunts take the necessary precautions. Look at Taco Bell for example. They had recent outbreaks in there food. Anyways, Toxin is an excellent book and Id recomend it to anyone.

For all Robin Cook fans, Robin is going to host a dinner for four in Naples, Florida that goes on the auction block tonight on E.bay at 9:30 pm. This is a charity event and the perfect chance to ask him in person about his novels!

I am doing a project for my senior english class and I could really use the feedback Question 1- How many of you have read Toxin and what do you think about it? Question 2-Do you think the e coli threat is as serious as Dr. Cook makes it sound in the book? Question 3-Do you think fast food joints take the precautions necessary to keep e coli out of your food? Thanks A lot

When my husband and I were first dating he told me that if we ever had a daughter he wanted to name her after a character from a Robin Cook novel named Delaney. Well "our" Delaney is almost 10 and we would love to be able to tell her which Robin Cook novel it was. We can not for the life of us remember. Can anyone help out? I'd love to get a signed copy of the book.

Krystal, Toxin is good. It has a good theme, but it does not keep ur heart pace fast.It does not have a good climax.

What an accurate title. I feel like he dropped the ball with the ending of this book. Too many loose ends. The ending doesn't even make sense with the rest of the book. I too went back and reread sections thinking I must have missed something. I think that Mr. Cook is the one who missed something with the ending of this one! I usually love his books but this one ....

I gotta agree with you all. The ending was sloppy and didn't answer the questions of who and why. This is not like Robin. I still enjoyed the book but maybe he needs to add a "Part Two".

thanks for your input...maybe Mr. Cook put together the loose ends for those of us who just "didn't get it."
