Christopher Paolini, my name is Alex Russett age 12 and I love your books. My father and I were finished reading the first book of Anne McCaferys' Dragon Riders of Pern. This caused me to notice a
poorly mistreted blue book on my school library shelf. The book happened to be Eragon and it hooked me in. I soon realized that there is more than one book and before exceeding the 10th chapter I bought all three books not even realizing the date was September the 20th. Your inheritance cycle did amazing things to my imaginaton. Here in Kentucy the vast forests that arent plagued by the evergrowing city look like good hiding spots for a few urgal camps. If you would give me the honor on when the 4th and final book will come out I would honored, but I am a patient person and I could care less how long it takes you to complete this work of fine art. Happy publishing and know that I will be among the first to buy your 4th book. May the stars watch over you as well as good fortune and may peace live in your heart.

I think that they would only die if living with the other had become so unbearable. i can't remember if what you're asking about was in the books and i just re-read both. however i do remember in the movie (which was so bad i should not have gone, and i hope they don't make any more until they remake eragon) that saphira had told eragon that she would die if he did.

I've read all the books in the inheritance cycle published so far. I just finished brisingr. I remember reading that if a rider dies, the dragon dies also. And if the dragon dies, the rider lives. You also wrote, in brisingr, that Oromis died, the Glaedr still fought until Murtagh, controlled by Galbatorix, killed Glaedr, a dwarf said to a dwarf who tried to kill Eragon, if you'd succeeded, Saphira would come kill us all! (not the exact words) I also read, on the internet today, that some people who posted stuff on other sites wrote that a rider died, but the dragon may still live in hiding (I read different things like that many times) My apologies for making this so long, but please answer, sir.

ah, shoot, I accidentally read a spoiler. oh well, Brom being Eragon's dad is no real surprise, but what was the with the whole morzan being his father thing. Nevermind, don't tell me, I'd rather find out myself. Yes, I still haven't read the book, but I will..eventually, lol.

i expected a lot more. I'm not sure what really, but i'm pretty bummed there wasn't more dramatic events.
Eldest is still my favorite

ohh his mentor dies unfortunetly this has not suprised me and just makes me sadder, because i do not believe that he is a prodigy as many believe. i have read this before and many better written books try looking up ant-shur'tugal this is where i come from
