I contacted publishers and they hope to have method out by November. It is subject to change.

I have it figured out: DG is trying to write a story about how long he can draw out writing a story. He says something, does not follow through, disappears, and repeats. He then watches our reaction and uses it as research for the book he is really working on titled Gotcha!

Please give David a break. We are about the same age and David has said he was tired. Family comes first, just understand that. Chtorr will be published and will be great.

where's this interview, I enjoy his musings on most topics?

There's an interview with David from: he talked about everything under the sun...except for Method, but at least he is still alive and kickin'...reason to hope?

It has been some time since DG's last update, despite promising an update sometime in July. I know that I probably should just give up, but much like a young child on Christmas, I REALLY want to read the rest of what I consider the best sci-fi series of all time. So if anyone out there KNOWS what he is up to and would like to share it (no speculation please), it would be appreciated.

My sense is an announcement would have been made had AMFM been submitted. I hope it has, but I remain unconvinced. Even if it has, it will be 18 to 24 months before we will see it at a bookstore. There is an entire generation unfamiliar with the story, so a re-release of the first 4 books will occur before AMFM is published. Please, someone prove me wrong and relieve me of the burden of my skepticism.

Any word if DG has submitted the next book to his publishers?

I listened to it. At long last we may see the long awaited next book in the chtorr series some time next year.

David Gerrold did an interview on episode 8 of CastaBlasta where he talks about A Method for Madness (www jupiterbroadcasting com).
