Book Review By Nancy Wallace
Every Waking Moment by Meryl Sawyer

Taylor Maxwell has so much going on in her life that there is no time left for a personal life. Her boyfriend disappeared on a photo shoot two years ago and she refuses to believe that he is dead. Her mother, who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, announced the year before that she had a baby when she was seventeen. Now she wants to find the daughter that she gave up for adoption. The family business that Taylor helps run seems to be under attack by some outside source and to top it all off one of her new neighbors seems to be watching her.
Shane Donovan has wanted to meet Taylor since he saw her photograph over a year ago. When he moves to Miami to work as a security consultant with an old friend he moves into Taylor's building and sets out to become acquainted with her. His cause is helped along when he and his partner are hired to find out who is causing computer problems in her family's business. Then he is enlisted to check out a woman who is claiming to be her mother's lost daughter.
The attack on the company escalates to murder when Taylor's newly discovered sister is killed and Taylor and her brother become suspects. When Taylor receives death threats herself and her apartment is damaged by a pipe bomb she moves in with Shane for protection. By the time Shane realizes who is behind all the problems it is almost too late for Taylor.
