    Grant Sullivan was one of the governments top agents before he had retired so when wealthy James Hamilton discovered his daughter had been kidnapped he hired Grant to rescue her. The problem is there is a microfilm missing and the government is not sure whether Jane is an innocent victim or actually engaged in espionage. Getting Jane out of her jungle prison is not hard but escaping from the country is once it becomes apparent they will not be able to use the helicopter that Grant had arranged for. Instead he and Jane must spend days trekking through the jungle, fighting off insects, snakes, and terrorists until they can find a way to return to the United States.
    During their adventure Jane and Grant become very close but once they are back in the States, Grant sends Jane away. Unfortunately for him Jane has different ideas and Grant soon has to set out to rescue her once again.
