Book Review By Taylor D.
Six Months to Live by Lurlene McDaniel

Dawn Rochelle is an average girl of thirteen until her anual checkup results came back... cancer. How could she have cancer? Dawn imidately went into the oncology floor of her hospital. She had a roomate of the same age, Sandy Chandler, who also had cancer. They did everything together including fashion advise, counselling, and other activities in the hospital. It was Dawn's fourth month at the hospital when Sandy's test results came back saying she was in remission. Two weeks later Dawn was in remission too. Dawn and Sandy meet up at a cancer camp in Ohio. They had a blast and they even meet two boys, Greg and Mike. Mike had had a bone cancer and part of his left leg had been cut off. Greg liked Dawn and Mike liked Sandy. It was three weeks after camp when Sandy wrote a letter to Dawn that told her that Sandy was out of remission.
