Considering Kate by Nora Roberts

Kate Stanislaki Kimball grew up to be a ballerina, just like her mother had wanted to do. But when she starts to miss home, Kate packs up and moves back to her home town to start a ballet school. She hires Brody O'Connell to redo the building. She is immediately attracted to him and begins to fall in love with him and his son.

Brody is reluctant to continue the relationship because he doesn't want to hurt his son. He worries that Kate will want to go back to dancing professionally, but while in New York for a charity dance he realizes that he is in love with her. He doesn't think she wants to get married though.

When Jack, his son, proposes to Kate, she is charmed, and decides it is time to confront Brody and ask him to marry her. Will he accept her proposal?
