Book Review By Shawn Chauvette
Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer

Artemis Fowl and his trusted bodyguard Butler return to find Artemis's father. Years earlier his father's efforts to go legit were thwarted by the Russian Mafia. Lost at sea and presumed dead by everyone, Artemis believes differently and continues the search. He may have just found him.
Unfortunately, his rescue mission may have to be delayed as he is accused by fairy police officer and arch enemy Holly Short of illegally trading in human and fairy technology. But when he is cleared they enlist his help to find the real culprit. If Artemis can help stop the goblin uprising and find out who orchestrated the plot, the fairy police will help him recover his lost father.
That is if they survive the assassination attempts, molten lava, the goblin hordes, and an arctic train ride.
