Bobby Bishop (Charlie Sheen), an assistant to the Presient (Sam Waterston), leaves a restraunt in Washington D.C. and runs into an old professor of his. The professor warns him of a dangerous conspiracy inside the govenmanet just seconds before an asassain( Stephen Lang) kills him and then chases Bishop, nearly killing him.
After another attempt on his life, Bishop teams up with Amanda Givens (Linda Hamilton), a reporter and ex-girlfreind. Together, they face both the assassain and government agents as they go through the professor's files and discover that Bishop's boss, the President's chief of staff Jacob Conrad (Donald Sutherland) is the head of a conspiracy that reaches into the highest levels of government and that they plan to assassinate the President at a charity event just hours away. | ||
