A serial killer is stalking the streets and Detective Carson O'Connor and her partner, Michael Maddison are on the case. New Orleans seems just the place for a killer to dismember victims, leaving behind the unwanted remains. The killer is a collector of external body parts but detectives become baffled when internal organs become the trophies.
Deucalion knows what is happening and has traveled the mountains of Tibet to wage a war against the one behind such abhorrence. This one to which Deaucalion refers is his maker, Dr. Frankenstein. Deacalion is his first creation. Deucalion meets with O'Connor on several occasions, gingerly and patiently convincing a reluctant detective that Frankenstein is still creating. As the mystery unfolds, Carson sees first hand, one of Frankenstein's creation or members of the "new race". It is someone she has known for years and watches as he metamorphoses into something less and less human until he is dead. She knows Frankenstein must be stopped or killings will continue throughout the city. More than that, she knows Frankensteins' desire is to completely wipe out the human race and replace it with creations of his own. He must be stopped. | ||
