Book Review By Susan D. Minkalis
Leap of Faith, Memoirs of an Unexpected Life by Queen Noor

Leap of Faith presents a heartfelt personal perspective of Queen Norr and the late King Hussein of Jordan. Arab-American Lisa Halaby became Queen Noor of Jordan in 1978 after she married King Hussein. In this detailed memoir, she inscribes openly the challenges that are endured being a King's wife and mother of many children.

This read provides her political insights and the history of the Middle East. Queen Norr clearly displays throughout the book her loyalty towards husband, family and country. She walks you through a difficult period when King Hussein was stricken with the dreadful disease of cancer and how it was dealt with.

She utilized her public role astutely by reaching out to the less fortunate.
