| Mr. Umbrio is released from prison, where he has lived since destroying, in a most horrifying way, the innocence of Catherine. His assignment is to kill the son of a powerful person, and to make Jimmy Gagnon's death appear to be the work of one of the family members of this victim. Despite Mr. Umbrio's affinity for knives, a Swat Team sniper, Bobby Dodge, is his weapon of choice!
With this opening scene, a trail of violence begins, because Jimmy is not the "real" target of the man behind Richard Umbrio. After Jimmy's death, it becomes apparent that anyone else having a relationship to Catherine Gagnon is to be included on his hit list, either to be killed or to be discredited. The motive behind the killings is purely one of greed.
