One Night of Sin by Gaelen Foley

Becky is on the run from her cousin Prince Mikhail. Mikhail and his cossack soilders are determined to catch her. Becky has been running for days. Finally exhausted, and wet from the rain she seeks shelter on porch. This is where rakish Alex Knight ecounters her. Alex is the youngest of the Knight clan and a gambler who has lately been down on his luck. On the way to a night of debuachry with his friends he encounters Becky on the doorstep of his friends house. Assuming that she is harlot they try to take her inside the house. However, Becky is frightened and runs away. Alex eventually calms Becky's fears and convinces her into spending the night with him.

Alex is under the impression Becky is a harlot and they end up having an amazing night of passion. In the morning when Alex awakes, he finds Becky gone and her virginal blood on his bed. Alex follows Becky and realizes she is in great danger. Alex, feeling guilty for debauching a virgin decides to help Becky. What follows is a passionate love affair. Both characters are greatly in need of love but Alex fights his love. In the process of trying to help Becky, Alex realizes he needs her like no one he has before. Eventually they come to realize their love for each other.
