The Maid of The White Hands by Rosalind Miles

Ten years have past since the first book, for these ten years Tristan and Isolde have been lovers behind King Mark of Cornwall's back. Meanwhile, the old Queen of Ireland, Isolde's mother, is deathly ill and dies. Isolde becomes Queen of Ireland, but now she must fight with an evil knight called Breccan who intends to make himself King at all costs.

Meanwhile while Isolde is in Ireland, Tristan, now King of Lyonesse and Champion of Cornwall must travel back to court. On his way, back he takes refuge at a castle. The mistress of this castle Duessa, takes Tristan captive and intends to make him her sex slave. Tristan escapes with the help of a servant Falsamilla. The maid asks for a kiss in payment, which Tristan must oblige in order to receive freedom. Upon returning to Cornwall, from his imprisonment, Tristan is very weak, but he must prepare for a tournament. During the tournament, Tristan is mortally wounded and asks to be sent to Isolde. However, instead Andred (Mark's conniving nephew) has Tristan sent to Isolde of France or Blanche.

Upon arriving in France, Tristan's care is entrusted to Blanche. While Tristan is convalescing, Blanche is trying to find a way to make Tristan her husband. Blanche convinces Tristan he must marry her to save her from her suitor Saint Roc. Meanwhile, Andred sends a letter to Tristan, in the name of Isolde, the letter claims Isolde no longer loves Tristan. Therefore, in despair, Tristan marries Blanche; but on their wedding night, Tristan escapes. Tristan is found by Isolde's maid who she has sent to see if the marriage is a reality. Now, Isolde must travel to France to save Tristan and renew their love. Afterwards, they must go to Tintagal and Queen Igraine to save both their reputations.
