Book Review By Jennifer
Watchers by Dean Koontz

Travis Cornell is about to end his life in the woods when he runs across a golden retriever smarter than normal. This dog ends up saving Travis (who doesn't know it at the time) from the Outsider - a monster bent on killing the dog, which Travis later names Einstien. The Outsider and Einstien are both genetically engineered by the government for wars (the dog is to get past enemies and retrieve important information and the Outsider comes after and destroys everyone). Once Einstien takes refuge with Travis, the Outsider comes after both of them, keeping them on the run. The duo comes across a shy woman, Nora Devon, who has been sheltered her entire life until now. Travis and Einstien save her from a man trying to rape her one dayl. However, hot on their trail is not only the monster, but also a ruthless hit man, who kills without mercy. The suspense is full throttle while the three avoid the Outsider and Vince, the hit man, try to understand the connection between the monster and the dog, and the mystery behind it all.
