Book Review By Sandra Calhoune
Gabriel Hawk's Lady by Beverly Barton

Ex CIA agent Gabriel Hawk has been assigned to rescue a small child from the dangerous jungles of San Miguel. Gabriel is part on an elite group of agents entitled The Protectors. What Gabriel hadn't counted on was sexy teacher (and ex missionary) Rori Deane. Rori's brother Peter and sister-in-law Cipriana have been killed in an act of unimaginable violence. To make matters worse, her nephew Frankie has been kidnapped. Rori has no intention of letting Gabriel Hawk go to San Miguel without her. After all, she is Frankie's nephew and his closest living relative. Although Gabriel tries every tactic known to man to convince Rori not to make the trip to San Miguel, she thwarts him at every turn.

As Gabriel and Rori blaze a path through the dangerous San Miguel jungles in search of Frankie, neither one of them counted on the blazing passion that would arise between them. Gabriel is a man who has never needed a woman before, and suddenly, he finds himself needing Rori Deane.
