The Italian's Secret Baby by Kim Lawrence

Roman O'Hagan had the shock of his life when his mother declared he had a son. If he had gotten a woman pregnant, surely he would have known. But one look at the boy, whom Scarlet Smith called Sam, was all it took to convince Mrs. O'Hagan. Roman was perplexed, cause if he had bedded the fiery, sexy lady, he would never had forgotten about her. Nevertheless, he took a hair sample for DNA paternity testing.

The eccentric, gorgeous Italian had the nerve to barge into her house and into her life. Scarlet hated the man for getting under her skin and who could easily set off her temper. Her mean disposition certainly had a lot to do with frustration; coping with her intense attraction to him. Sparks literally flew between the two. She had to remind herself the man was not interested in her beyond claiming his son. The rich business tycoon just might play dirty to snatch Sam away from her.

It was hard to fight him because he had indeed fathered Sam but Sam's birth mother, Abby (her sister) was dead. Scarlet had loved Sam as her own and now this man threatened their peaceful existence. She would do better than falling recklessly in love with a man who surely left behind a string of broken hearts. Yet, nobody warned her how difficult it was to resist Roman if and when he turned on his charms. He also might hate her for the secret she was keeping - Abby had deliberately gotten pregnant.
