Book Review By Tracey Ray
Midnight by Dean Koontz

Moonlight Cove, California isn't your average tourist town, not anymore. Strange deaths have occurred in this town and one citizen was concerned enough to contact the FBI.

Harry, a handicapped veteran, habitually lives outside his small home via his telescope. Through this, he has seen bodies being carried undercover of darkness to the morgue but never reads about it in the paper. He has also seen strange looking, wolf like creatures roaming the night.

FBI agent, Sam Booker, has been assigned to investigate these mysterious deaths as an undercover tourist. He discovers a virtual ghost town. The citizens he does mingle with have strange and bizarre behaviors. Sam and Harry soon discover a sinister man has scientifically altered people to what he deems to be a higher form. Once altered, however,a primal, murderous side effect physically manifests itself. Sam must stop the continued conversions at its source.
