Book Review By Nancy Wallace
Cowboy Surrender by Judy Christenberry

Now that Jake Randall has managed to marry off his three brothers he finds himself the target of his new sisters in law's matchmaking. To protect himself he and B.J. Anderson, the local veterinarian who lives in a house on his property, agree to pretend they are a couple. Little does Jake know that his sisters-in-law had purposely picked women that would be unsuitable for Jake hoping he would turn to B.J. instead.
Unfortunately both Jake and B.J. have had unhappy marriages and neither one is interested in marrying again. B.J. in particular fears that if she were to marry Jake her son Toby would always be a second best since he wouldn't be a true Randall. Unwilling to give up so easily the sisters-in-law decide to have a party and invite all the single men around. Maybe if Jake sees how much other men are interested in B.J. he'll change his mind about marrying her.
