Book Review By Anna Froberg
Missing Since Monday by Ann M. Martin

Maggie and Mike Ellis are thrilled when their father and new wife take a belated honeymoon in the Carribean, leaving them to watch out for themselves and their half-sister, Courtenay. Everything is fine until Monday afternoon, when Courtenay doesn't get off at the bus stop after school. Courtenay never made it into her first-grade class that morning.

Maggie starts receiving menacing phone calls, and catches someone watching the house. Then Maggie and her friends notice a mysterious car following them. Does the creepy guy across the street know something about what happened to Courtenay? Why is Maggie and Mike's birth mother calling after an absence of more than ten years? And is the person who took Courtenay still watching? Maggie has more to worry about than the dissapearance of her little sister--she could be the next to go missing.
