Wolverine: Weapon X by Marc Cerasini

Logan is a loner with a past he tries to drink away. His mind is confused by the passage of time. He can't remember if something happened a few hours ago, a month ago, or even a few years back. Just because he doesn't know when it is doesn't stop him from noticing he's being tracked. It takes a group of soldiers to take him down. They do it but not without injuries.

He is taken to a secret underground lab were The Professor has planned some tests for him. The Professor wants his own mind less weapon that will destroy with out question. They graft metal to his skeleton. A side effect of this causes him to have six claws come out of his hands that are retractable. This is a useful tool for Weapon X to have for the experiments they put him through. Such as defending himself against staring wolves and attacking a Bear. The Professor, with the help of a doctor accused of killing his wife and child, and Carol Hines an ex-NASA scientist with information about a mind control device called REM, try to make Logan into an unfeeling killing machine.
