| Detective/Doctor Alex Cross, along with his best friend and faithful work collegue, John Sampson, is pulled into yet another lot of complicated and deadly criminal cases. There are two vicious monsters on the loose, by the names of "Casanova", who kidnaps extremely intelligent and particularly good-looking women, (one of which happens to be Naomi Cross, Alex's niece), and "The Gentleman Caller", who kills beautiful women in the most gorey and unnatural ways. Swept up in a confusion of an odd romance and pressurising detective work, Alex manages to find leads on the cases. After managing to help a victim that escaped from the lare of "Casanova", who goes by the name of Kate McTiernan, he develops feelings for her. | ||
