Book Review By Jess
Shadow Dance by Susan Andersen

When a serial killer begins slaughtering Show Girls, Dectective Tristan MacLaughlin is assigned to the case. He believes that the Reno dancers are nothing but classy hookers and wants nothing to do with them.

Amanda Rose is the latest victim's best friend and is called upon to identify her body. Tristan is attracted to her, but believes that she's just another slutty dancer. He treats her harshly in order to keep her at arm's length. As a resault, Amanda thinks that he is a heartless robot and wants nothing to do with him, even though she feels drawn to him.

As the case progresses and Amanda and Tristin spend more time together, they begin to move past their first impressions of one another. They then begin to fall in love. But their budding relationship becomes threatened when the Show Girl Slayer makes Amanda his next target.
