In 1944, Rudolph W. Giuliani was born to a working class family in Brooklyn, New York. As the grandson of Italian immigrants, Mayor Giuliani learned a strong work ethic and a deep reverence of America craving for a just society. He renovated law and order, reduced taxes and cut the welfare roll of New York City in half. This monstrous task drastically improved the quality of life for its' citizens.

This biography begins with Giuliani as a college kid who confides to his girlfriend his aspirations of becoming the President of the United States. He practiced speech after speech in front of mirror until he felt his words were clear and to the point. Years later after holding several governmental offices, Giuliani finally made it to US District Attorney forever changing New York politics. With two troubled marriages and a secretive family history, his career surpasses this bewilderment with much intensity.

Author Wayne Barrett draws on over twenty years of reporting on Giuliani and provides the detailed concise political career of Rudy.
