Getting Hers by Donna Hill

Three beautiful women form an alliance and set out to commit coldblooded murder. Tess, the ringleader, is a brainy Madam who was stripped of her lucrative business by an enemy. Tess sets in motion a deadly plan of revenge, murder and mayhem. Tess' two accomplices are Katherine, a beautiful, rich businesswoman and Nikki, a spicy Latina who is an ex-con. When the three women randomly meet in the gynecologist's office and end up being trapped together in an elevator during a blackout, the ladies end up confiding their dirty little secrets. Tess, who is seeking to avenge herself on the individual who caused her profitable prostitution business to be exposed to the feds, discovers that both Nikki and Katherine are both looking for a little payback of their own. It seems that Katherine is having an affair with a female, one that her husband is threatening to expose unless she steps down as CEO of her own company and gives him the top position. Nikki has spent time in jail due to the duplicity of her boyfriend, a man who sent her down the river with no remorse. That's when Tess devises a scandalous plan that will have each woman committing murder on behalf of a member of the threesome.
