No Excuses is the amazing story of Kyle Maynard, a young man born with the gentic defect known as Quadramembral Phocomelia that caused him to have limited growth of his arms legs. The book starts out with Kyle explaing what his parents were going through as his mother's pregnancy progressed. the doctors telling her not to worry and then questioning whether to abort or not. Kyle was born and he quickly learned to adapt to his shortcomings; working hard to learn to use regular utensils. With a loving, supportive family, Kyle did the things most boys his age did; played football, street hockey and video games. The family moved to Georgia and Kyle made friends pretty fast.
